木下 牧子 KINOSHITA Makiko

管弦楽、吹奏楽、室内楽から歌曲までその活動は幅広く、特にオペラ、音楽劇を含む声楽作品は抜群の人気を誇る。今までに毎回異なる編成で5回の作品展を開催、とりわけ第5回オーケストラ作品展は各方面から高い評価を得た。
東京生まれ。東京芸術大学作曲科首席卒業、同大学院修了。管弦楽のための「幻想曲」で日本音楽コンクール作曲部門(管弦楽曲の部)入選。管弦楽のための「AURA」で日本交響楽振興財団作曲賞入選。オペラ「不思議の国のアリス」(モーツァルト劇場創立20周年委嘱作品)初演で三菱UFJ信託音楽賞奨励賞受賞。
出版多数。CDに「オーケストラ作品集〜呼吸する大地」(オクタヴィア レコード)、「室内楽作品集〜もうひとつの世界」(「レコード芸術」現代曲部門 特選盤/ライヴノーツ)、「ピアノ作品集〜夢の回路」(「音楽現代」推薦盤/ライヴノーツ)、「歌曲集〜花のかず」(「レコード芸術」声楽部門 特選盤)、「祝福」(無伴奏合唱/日本伝統文化振興財団)ほか多数。現在、日本現代音楽協会会員。

BIOGRAPHY
KINOSHITA Makiko is a contemporary composer who made a mark in extensive classical music fields from the orchestra, wind orchestra, chamber music to songs. Her vocal works are especially renowned for the eminent popularity, including operas and musical dramas. She has given five solo exhibitions, each of which represented different instrumental configurations. The 5th solo exhibition KINOSHITA Makiko WorksⅤ“Orchestral Time” was above all highly regarded by all lines.
 Born in Tokyo, KINOSHITA Makiko was a top graduate of the department of composition at Tokyo University of the Arts and completed the graduate course there. She won prestigious honors including the Prize of the Japan Music Competition for Fantasy for orchestra (orchestral work composition division) and the Japan Symphony Foundation Composition Award for AURA for orchestra. The premiere of her opera, Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland, commissioned by Mozart Theater for the 20th anniversary, received the Encouragement Prize by Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Music Award. Many of her works are published.
 Plentiful recordings are released and garnered high accolades from media, notably, Orchestral Works – The Breathing Earth (Octavia records) , Chamber Music Works – Another World (LIVENOTES, nami-records.co.jp) special selected CD at contemporary music division in “The Record Geijutsu,” Piano Works – The Circuits of Dreams ( LIVENOTES, nami-records.co.jp) a recommended CD in” Ongaku-Gendai,” Songs – Counting Flowers ( LIVENOTES, nami-records.co.jp) special selected CD at vocal music division in “The Record Geijutsu, “ Unaccompanied Choir – Blessings ( Japan Traditional Cultures Foundation).
