About Japanese Instruments Workshop for Composers

During ISCM World Music Days 2001 in Yokohama, the organizer is planning a special project Children's Future 2001. Children's Future 2001 is the project of music making workshops and concerts that open for children, students and also local community members. We welcome all composers participated in WMD 2001 Yokohama to the special Japanese Instruments Workshop for Composers. This workshop is lead by Akiko Nishigata, a Shamisen player , and Yukiko Tsubonou, a music director of Children's Future 2001. The workshop participants play their music made through the workshop at the concert 2 of Children's Future 2001.

Applications will be accepted the first twenty arrivals during the WMD 2001 festival at the registration corner. Before the festival, you are able to reserve the opportunity only by facsimile or e-mail with following points.
